2017 Toyota Camry

2017 Toyota Camry

Building on the Camry's longstanding popularity, Toyota offers a 2017 model that's comfortable, fun to drive, and spacious. As a midsize sedan, the 2017 Camry comes in a range of trims that cater to a variety of budgets and preferences. With its sleek, modern exterior, the newest Camry has an attractive appearance with broad appeal.

Toyota gives shoppers four trims to choose from: the LE, SE, XSE, and XLE. The most affordable Camry in the line up is the LE. For those wanting a sportier look and a sports-tuned suspension, the SE is the best bet. Enjoy multiple upgrades such as leather and synthetic suede upholstery on the XSE. For maximum luxury, opt for the XLE, which has comfort-oriented suspension. Hybrid models also available.
The latest Camry has contemporary flair. The exterior gets upgrades as you move to higher trims. For example, the XSE comes with LED running lights, and the SE has sporty exterior accents. Wheels range in size from 16 to 18 inches, depending on the trim.

The standard engine on the 2017 Toyota Camry is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder machine capable of generating 178 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque. The engine connects to a six-speed automatic transmission with front-wheel drive. Optional on the XSE and XLE is a 3.5-liter V6 that cranks out 268 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque. It has the same transmission as the base engine. Hybrid engine also available.

The acceleration power of the V6 is especially noteworthy: it can jump from zero to 60 in 6.2 seconds, which is faster than most of its rivals. In addition to strong acceleration, the new Camry offers a smooth ride, regardless of the suspension. You can expect a quiet, comfortable journey whether you're driving to the other side of the city or across the country. The transmission performance is effortless, shifting up and down with ease.

Besting its rivals in spaciousness, the 2017 Camry has a roomy and convenience-heavy interior with an open, airy feel. Thanks to its generous head and legroom, the Camry allows adults to sit comfortably in the back seats. For entertainment, a 6.1-inch touch screen provides access to the Entune suite. Higher trims access Entune features through a 7-inch display. All Camrys have Bluetooth technology and a USB/iPod interface.

Safety Features

Not only does every Camry have a rearview camera, air bags, and anti-lock brakes, but each one also comes with traction and stability control. On the XSE and XLE, it is optional to get a rear cross-traffic alert system and blind-spot monitoring. Opt for the Technology package to get forward collision mitigation with automatic braking and lane departure warnings.
