“ I’m extremely disappointed in this dealership and the overall interaction I had. That being said I am aware that some things are out of an individuals control, hence the three stars. Went here after visiting a different Toyota Dealership as I was told on the phone they had a new RAV4 I could actually test drive. I explained I’ve never had a hybrid car before but have driven fully electric and don’t necessarily like the way they feel. So I wanted to test drive one before fully committing to wait as RAV4s are back ordered and selling fast. I was told on the phone that they definitely had one I could test drive and was set up to meet someone specifically. Was even asked to text the salesman when I was on my way ‘so he could pull it out for me’. Get there and guess what…no car to test drive. Felt like a dishonest sales tactic. Don’t like it, but it is what it is. Spent close to 2 hours at the dealership. Was pushed towards some used ones after specifically saying used Toyotas aren’t worth it. For 7k more you can get a new one so it’s no real value add 🫠 Even drove a used car, but I knew what I wanted. Was about to walk out with promises to let me know when what I wanted came available when I was told that they could change the color on an incoming vehicle that wasn’t pre sold and still in build phase. It could be mine if I put a deposit on it and fill out a credit application. At this point, say less, deposit and application made. This was end of April. I confirmed with my salesman that color change happened on that the date range for delivery on 5/11. Messaged again the day after first day in the range (5/19-5/20) passed. Was told not yet but they would be in touch. No big deal, still within timeframe. I was just excited and hoping it would be the shorter timeframe. Get a call today to check the specs on the car I ordered as they have cars in or on the way but aren’t sure which one is mine? Weird. I signed a contractual agreement and gave you money to hold a car but you don’t know which car is supposed to be mine? After speaking, I get a call back that they don’t have the car for me, but they can get one ordered. I’ve now lost just shy of a month waiting for a car. Will absolutely not be doing business with Gault now or in the future. Gave my credit card information to get my refund reprocessed (jury’s out on if that will happen with no issue but they did what was right and didn’t fight me on it) and immediately turned around and called Williams Toyota to put down a deposit. Shit happens but this feels like a communication and disorganization issue and I’m so let down. If you can’t do something with 100% confidence, don’t say you can. Period. Being my first and last experience with them, I don’t recommend. ”
“ Beware of deceptive dealership add-ons at Gault Toyota. We started the new car process in March, knowing exactly the trim level, color, and factory options wanted. We received a printout with MSRP for that build. The vehicle arrived, built to order, on 5/12. We met with finance person there and several dealer added options were promoted. No dealer added options were agreed to. At no time was the "ForeverStart" battery warranty discussed or explained. We scheduled pickup for 5/19 at 4pm. When completing the sale paperwork, a charge for $899 under optional accessory had been added to the bill. No one there offered much explanation or details other than to say it was a battery warranty. Upon arriving home and looking further into this, we realized we had been taken advantage of. I called the finance person each of the next two days, leaving messages but no return call back. I called the salesman but no return call either. I visited the showroom and was able to speak to them both about my displeasure with this unnecessary added charge and was led to believe someone from the dealership would get back to me. No one ever did. The Toyota vehicle by itself is good so far! ”

This is embarrassing for you guys as a dealership. Let’s not mention this car is now unsafe to drive. They sold it to us with a broken e break and they refuse to come tow it (we only drove the car 150 miles before the check engine light came on) there wasn’t even an oil change done and if there was they didn’t ever say that nor did they put a sticker on the window to indicate that. After proudly “firing” me as a customer, they are now sending me text messages promoting great deals on service. Apparently, business must be slow. The fact that they can’t even communicate internally says everything anyone needs to know about how their operation is run. I would not recommend any Gault products (Chevrolet, BMW, Toyota). If you enjoy being lied to, strung along, and dealing with people who refuse to take accountability, then Gault Body Shop is the place for you! Let me introduce you to the dream team: Bob Gillette – A bully who thinks yelling and interrupting customers will make them back down. Spoiler: It doesn’t. Ryan Morris – A master of empty promises and avoiding follow-ups. Rob Gault – The leader who listens to concerns, then promptly does nothing about them. Customer service? Nonexistent. Transparency? Forget about it. Accountability? Not in their vocabulary. I brought my brand-new 2025 Chevrolet High Country Suburban to Gault after a snowplow damaged it. I was promised an 11-business-day repair, with a completion date of February 17. Instead, I got 30+ business days of delays, misinformation, and outright lies. The real kicker? I had to chase them for every single update. They never proactively called me—I always had to reach out first, only to be given false promises and changing completion dates. The Gault Body Shop Timeline of Chaos: February 3 – Dropped off my vehicle for what was supposed to be an 11-day repair, completion date: February 17. February 5 – Chevrolet notifies me that parts have been shipped. Confusing, since Gault had already told me all parts were in. February 5 – I call Rich, who assures me everything is fine and work will start February 6—spoiler: it didn’t. February 6-9 – Nothing happens. My vehicle sits untouched. February 7 – I express my concerns to Bob Gillette and am immediately met with hostility. I escalate the issue, and Ryan Morris is assigned as my new contact. February 7 – Ryan tells me work will officially start on February 10 and the new completion date is February 24. February 10 – Finally, my vehicle is moved inside, and work actually begins. February 11 – Ryan tells me that a critical part is unavailable in the U.S. and that they won’t even check back for two weeks. February 12 – I call Chevrolet myself and find out that the part has already been shipped. I call Ryan back, who has no idea. He calls me back 20 minutes later confirming that the part had actually arrived that same day. February 12 – Ryan tells me they’re continuing work and promises to call me on February 17 with an update. February 13-14 – Vehicle is moved outside and sits untouched again. February 17 – Ryan never calls me. February 18 – I email at 6:21 AM asking for an update—no response. February 18 – I call Ryan, only to find out he’s out until Thursday—again, no one bothered to tell me. February 18 – With no other choice, I call Bob Gillette. Dreaded it, knew what was coming. February 18 – Bob calls me back and drops the bomb—completion date is now March 14. February 18 – I ask why Ryan never told me this, since Bob claims Ryan knew the new completion date on February 12. Bob has no answer. At this point, I’ve spent over two weeks getting jerked around, being lied to, ignored, and insulted. Bob’s response? Call me a ‘Helicopter Customer’ and tell me he’s never had a customer like me. Well, Bob, maybe that’s because most customers don’t put up with this level of nonsense. The Final Insult: When I call them out on their incompetence, their solution is to give me my car back after 18 days with nothing done to it. Guess what? I took it to another shop, and they will have it done SOONER than Gault’s ever-changing completion date. So if you want to experience: ✅ Lies ✅ False promises ✅ Delays with no communication ✅ Rude and unprofessional staff …then by all means, Gault Body Shop is the place for you. I wouldn't do any business or buy any vehicle form Gault Toyota, BMW, or Chevrolet. ”

“ This place SHOULD NEVER EVER BE USED AS A mechanic place to fix your car. I been with this place for over a year, they lied to me, stole my money, LIED TO MY FACE telling me I never needed tire rotation when I requested a tire rotation for a whole year and they refused to do it and after a year they said “omg how come you never did a tire rotation”, WOW!!!!! This place is only known for stealing your money and yes STEALING YOUR MONEY. The service manger should find a new job because he is a no help and he said he will look who did that mistake and he never took an action. I paid $1500 for toyota brakes and rotors and they only lasted 25,000 miles and they said yeah it’s normally and I said my previous brakes always lasted 40,000 miles and I have never had brakes that will last even 30,000 miles and they kept coming up WITH NONE SENSE TALK AND NO HELP AT ALL. IM WARNING ALL PEOPLE AT ALL COSTS, to STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOUR MONEY. THE SERVICE MANGER AND THE PEOPLE WHO WORKS AT SERVICE PLACE ARE ALL LAIERS AND THEY WILL SELL YOU ANYTHING THAT YOU DON’T NEED JUST SO THEY CAN MAKE MONEY. AGAIN THIS PLACE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY, LIE TO YOUR FACE,, and will be very rude with you and they will do whatever they can to take few thousands dollars from you. I know that dealers have to make money, but this was a straight up SCAM and stealing from a loyal customer. I trusted this place really well and I never thought they are wrong and would always tell to everyone they are great, till I figured out the disgusting game and SCAM they are doing and the way they are stealing money from the customers. This place needs a lot of work and what happened to me IS NEVER ACCEPTABLE AND ACCORDING TO THIS, TOYOTA MECHANICS ARE STEALERS AND LAIERS. ”
